GF1 with 14-45mm OIS lens. test out the 16:9 format

This is a superb photograph. Nice colours, excellent composition and framing of subject. Kudos to you mate.

May I ask if this was taken during sunrise or sunset?

Hi Thanks. It's sunset time. Was lucky as there was some dark clouds coming in.

Hi there. Just wondering if you had cropped the pic.

No crop, just resized. Maybe i over processed it in silkypix, but if you are considering this lens for m4/3, go for it. Here's another one from this lens, much better i would say.

Nice. I prefer the pancake though. Compact, sharp and gives an excellent bokeh. My first choice for portraitures.

Dun worry abt it. Just curious as it looks a tad noisy at 800 so guessed it might have been cropped. Then again, Panny's high ISO is not really that forgiving.

Cheers, remember my G1 is the granddaddy of m4/3 so noise is quite bad. Also for that pic i was going for the grainy B n W hard monochrome look.

Ah. Ok. Nonetheless, it was a great series. Will upload mine when time permits.

Just to ask, how long did it take you to manual focus the Leica lens using the G1? From what I remember AF will only work with 4/3 or m4/3 lens. For all other lens you can use an adapter but it'll be manual focus only.

The colours and sharpness of the photos are superb. Its photos like these that are tempting me to buy a Leica or Voigtlander lens to use as a prime on my G1. :D

Didn't take me long to learn how to use it cos the Leica lens was the only lens I had on the G1 ;) so it was manual focus from day 1...

I find the Leica lenses superb for the sharpness and their colour rendition is what I prefer. You can do a google to see other shots taken with Leica lenses on M4/3 bodies...very poisonous :p
