I didn't even know I was @ ISO400!
Love how the petals branch out. Red, orange, yellow with the green background...
I just love it!

I was attracted to this fella because at that moment, this fella was the only plant within
its radius of 1/2m being lighted up by the sun ray. It's like he's the main attraction there.

I love the big green leaf background!

The way the flower spread plus the greenish background's position just appeals to me.
This is my favourite of all.

Thanx for looking!

Moderator Reminder (gentle one)

As a continuation of the sharing of sample images shot on Four Third and micro Four Third camera system, this is the new thread started for the community to share their images shot on the system.

Whenever possible, share more about how the shot was taken, what camera was used, as well as lens, setting, some background, etc. to make this a real sharing gallery rather than just posting nice images.

Do note that this is NOT your personal gallery and excessive multiple images postings shall be removed at the discretion of the moderator(s) in charge of this section of the forums.

There are galleries within ClubSNAP and APAD threads (A Picture A Day) where you can upload your creative shots for sharing with the entire ClubSNAP community.

Thanks for nothing this, and let the sharing begin.

Microcosm.

Very nice shots Khair76! I din know at Jurong bird park u can also shoot the other "Bird of Paradise". Very well done. That little fella in the 1/2 m radius of sun very nice too. Sigma 150mm quite impressive. Did u use any additional lighting?

Oh! They're called Bird of Paradise!?!?! I didn't know that! Hahaha!
No additional lighting was used. Pure sunlight. Shot these between 3-5pm.
In fact, my shots of them are way better than my bird shots...;p
The Sigma belonged to my friend who was also with me. I ended up using it more than him! Very impressed with this fella! Seriously thinking of getting 1 too!

very
I am wondering if this is cropped or post processed to make the very building straight, or straight from the camera (in terms of perspective) for that lense?

Thanks bro :)
It's full size picture without cropping and distortion correction.
Only did some basic pp : adjusting highlight/shadow, saturation and sharpening.
