Hi, was out of town.....

To what i know.... there are two version of Thumbs Up thumb rest suitable for x10 and x100 (although mostly designed for Leica).

- (Thumbs Up EP-5S) is a plain thumb rest.look shorter and it fit into the hot-shoe nicely. no problems and don't see why the hot-shoe should become loose over time.
- (Thumbs Up CSEP-2) is with a thumb rest + Hot-Shoe. Look longer. For this it will require a slight tightening of the thumb rest to the hot-shoe with a Allen Key.
They start selling from S$120+ onwards. Chiif carries quite a few.

Best is that you try it and have a feel of the position and comfort level either one of them gives you.

The one I have is from Lensmate and it bascially it also covers the Exposure Compensation Dial of the x100. which i prefer and I dont shoot with flash. So no issue with my hot-shoe covered. I got it from a seller @S$100 from BnS.... you may need to search a bit to find that post.

or check out Artworkpoto BnS-post... they had new stocks of thumb-rest arrived

cheers

Am using the CSEP2 now. Originally meant for my Leica X1 but it can fit into the hotshoe of my X100 and so used it. Found it very comfortable and put less stress on your thumb area as opposed to using no thumbs up. Do try it and see.

Shall go and try it out this weekend. Thanks!!

really nice..

bro, would you mind to share the leather case? :)

thanks

If I'm correct, that's the gariz case. :)

Yup its. I saw the mr zhao case in black with red trimming but i thought the quality was sort of shoddy for a $100 half case. Topped up $30 more and i don't regret it one bit. The gariz is really top notch.

PLUS ------ most important is that -----
Gariz allows you to still use the Tripod with the case still on and also, change batteries. Mr Zhou case cannot......

Bro, how does the Voigtlander hood attach to the lens?

Yeah it's a 50+ years old vintage hood apparently.. It's really a beauty and the colour matches the X100 perfectly! I have many people staring at it and coming up to ask for a look. Very nice!

my x100 with Canolite D flash...... and it works......

Have to remove the ring around the lens and screw it on directly. That means no adapter for attaching a filter but given that the filter will cause more flare, it is better to be without the filter.

Anyway, anyone looking for the JJC lens adapter and hood set? Got one for sale! PM me for more details. Brand new! :P
