Pardon me for the bad photo... using my samsung galaxy SII to shoot

hmm think I need to change the light seal... can anyone advise me how much does it cost me and where to get it done? De camera consultant?

yup, the do cla too. you might want to call them for the latest price though.

cla = clean, lub, adjust. basically, the camera is stripped down and cleaned, lubricated and adjusted

The cost of changing light seal and CLA may cost more or nearly the price of a 2nd hand OM2N itself.
Just a personal opinion cos the OM2N I m currently using dun cost much.

Is there really a need to spend $$ on CLA? SLR are tough little machines.

i will check the costs then... but light seal most probably need to do... cos i can see those foams corroding and dropping off.

I agree regarding the light seals, the foams do falls apart.
Camera Hospital uses a different type of foam that I think is longer lasting.

I'm not sure about your model but I ordered light seals for my Nikon for less than $20 on eBay. Replacement is rather easy

yes, light seals from this guy who is really popular on ebay. painless experience ordering seals for many of my cameras. jon goodman aka kyphoto.

he is on ebay, or if u dont ebay, drop him an email. he really is a nice fella and will follow up any order with a personal email. had some problems with my first camera and he was really helpful.

Yes the Mk 1 is attached, I am using the same set up too.
After reviving mine F3, I have totally given up on Dslr.

Yes its difficult to find one in tip top condition.
I spotted mine mk1 on Keh (an online camera used camera store) quite a while back n quickly purchased it, surprisingly it was not expensive then.
Have not seen one on sale ever since.

Your F3 looks new, mine is all roughed up n brassing are obvoius.

I have too a mint looking champagne F3T but thats too pretty for daily bashing. Haha!
