U need a 50mm. For Leica, there's nothing like a 50 Summilux pre-asph or current ASPH. The summicrons are nice sharp lenses too.
For "cheaper" lenses - hmmm... Canon 50f1.4, f1.2, Konica Hexanon 50f2, Topcor, Nikkor... the list goes on. Gommy and Hacker the Nippon lens experts! Benny for Canon consultancy.
Be warned... it's gonna hurt!!!

Oh..... I've been quite into SM for a while now. Nothing like the feeling of screwing my vintage Canon into one of those little classic curved bodies.
Then you'll grow to love vintage gear. They just don't make them like they used to.
Pot calling kettle black. I think this man has more screw mount lenses in his dry cabinet than many of us pooled together. All are rare and coverted collectibles too. Too poisonous for me.
You are right about the meter. It's a MC not MR4. The other item is not a soft release from screwmount cameras. Those will never fit on an M camera. That's a release adaptor OZTNO. Whilst you can use it like a raised shutter release (which really serves no additional advantage), it is actually used to mount the Leitz APDOO on any Leica M mount cameras (or any other RF cameras for the matter).

I was wondering about that too, but the idea came about by one of the members of Rangefinderforum and he patented it. I find my half-case more than sufficiently to grip the camera even vertically.
Can anyone share their experiences?

I heard that it may wear out the hot shoe part of the camera, but I do not know if that is true....:think: But also heard from those who use it that it helps make your grip more steady....
