chiif, you are not wrong.;) All doctors & dentists prescribe Poisons!! Most of the drugs that we prescribe come under the POISON ACTS. So, I'm just doing my job. :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

It's beautiful! Congrats! Where did u find such a pristine condition Leica III? I always found them fascinating in terms of design, but thought they're too much of a fuss to use (relatively compared to my M7). The design is really reflective of its era!

ebay.. was lucky. after a few rolls with me, it will be overhauled, polished, and left in the drybox as part of my private collection. ;)

I'd hate to know how much that cost you.My birthday coming soon. Can buy me one?Don't need the lens...

I think this is Leica tiniest lens: Hektor2.8cmf6.3
Two Hektors-one with A36 UV/IR. Any other difference?

Very nice pic! Love the background and the frontal lighting as well. The camera looks like Titanium Grey! :bsmilie:

The aperture values!!!! They are different!

Trust a connoisseur to hunt down vintage variations like these!! No wonder you always need so many copies of the same type of lenses. :bsmilie: Oh.. And with original bakelite front caps too!

But honestly, this is really one of the most compact lenses you can get for rangefinders! Simply beautiful. I have a much cheaper Leitz Elmar 3.5cm f/3.5 which is similar in size. Love it!

Cheers,
