Hi dfstan,

Before you go into eBay, check out our local B&S section here & the Pennisular shops first.

If you are planning to buy a M6 for use, then I would suggest don't go beyond SGD2300. There are infact quite a number of M6 letting go at very reasonable price here.

If you buying for collecting, then that depends on the rarity and the condition of the M6 you are talking about.

Buying things on eBay has it's risk. Do so if you can stomach the risk and prepare not to cry over things when things get ugly. But sometimes that's the fun part. Like what Forrest Gump said... it's like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get.

as chiif mentioned, look around first... USD2.6k does sound pretty steep.

although the M6 might be the one to aim for, there are more budget alternatives to get started with... by saying "budget", does not nec mean that they are no good.

on the global market, a M6 classic without a prior CLA should only go for about 1.1-1.3k USD. Anything else is probably a bit too much unless its a special edition or a titanium one. A CLA'd one should only be about 200-300USD more.

Well, i'm sure the shop would be selling much higher then what i am asking here, considering they have to factor in profit. As to why I am selling at this price, I am lazy to make a trip all the way down to hand the set, and another all the way down to collect payment. Then again, I am going to get busy soon, so wun have time to monitor and do meet ups. Just let the shop do the sale for me

to be honest, I've seen tan131's M6. For the amount of money, I bet you can't get anything that is close to that condition at that price. You are practically getting the Leica glass for half the price to start off with, as I've said before, the base price for a working M6 is at least SGD1600.

The reason why it's taken longer to sell doesn't mean that the product is no good, it's just that it hasn't found the lucky owner yet.

Same as buying property on the second hand market... there is only ONE lucky owner of the unit.

Hmmm, a new 50 f2 Cron will set you back at least $2250.
