A poor boy's Leica.

Leica M2 with lever rewind and selftimer. No quickload kit. This copy is pretty bashed up, but still very functional.

... was talking about Leitz Noctilux 50/1.2 Aspherical (not the current 50/1.0 which is far too common) , probably only less than 500 made. I know there is at least one piece available here in SG

Yup, this is one lens where the bokeh is perfect for portraits. It is not sharp at the minimum focusing distance (optimized for 3m) and wide open. But the bokeh that it renders is very smooth and pleasing, and with a medium contrast, I think it is so much nicer than many of the lenses that I have used.
