i'm no leica expert but mine happens to be a very early model M6 classic with engraving on the top plate and "leitz" red dot. perhaps these early models come with the coin slot battery cover?

My M6 comes with two battery covers. One with the leatherette cover and the other with the coin slot.

the lens and vf is huge compared to Voigtlander UW lens...certainly draws alot of attention on de streets

Manage to shoot the first roll? or leaving it for Malacca?

Erm, not really heavy but still alright. lol!
Price ranges quite a bit but its a rare find these days. The only 21mm F2.8 on the market in production at the moment is ZM 21mm F2.8 or the really bank breaking 21mm F2.8 elmarit asph.


I believe there is a leitz super angulon 12mm F3.4 in B&S now, grab it if you can, great lens!!!

Yep, I think the VF diameter is around 37-39mm I think.......
