Missing Tit 35 lux pre-asph???

In Germany for coding and now stuck because of the dealership handover, have 3 Ti lenses in Germany. I have a 35 ASPH Lux and 2 really old pre ASPH (repair costs were more than what I paid for the lens!). Thanks to Gommy for hooking me up with possibly getting a brand new pre ASPH one.

Hoping to pick up a Titanium 50mm Summilux ASPH this coming week, the lens that comes with the M7 Ti.

Would love the M7 Ti 3 lens set with 28 Cron, 50 Lux and 75 Cron Ti lenses but there were only 50 sets made and I have only seen 1 for sale and it was around 150K.

As for the handling of the M9T compared to a normal M9:

1. Weight wise I don't feel a difference, if there is a difference it is slight.

2. It has a better grip because of the rubberized grip areas.

3. It feels more solid. Everything seems to fit to tighter tolerance, especially the bottom plat.

4. No strap lugs! You are forced to use the weird mounting hole for either a neck strap, a finger grip or the holster. The mounting mechanism does not look very secure. Someone in Tokyo with number 60/500 had his fail and the M9T with lens fell to the floor. Without strap lugs there is also no way to secure a halfcase to the M9T.

5. The shutter release is different, it does not allow a soft release or a cabled release as there is no screw threads.

6. Sapphire crystal LCD

To be honest, the packaging probably cost about half of the price of the camera.

Congrat....thanks for sharing your post...at least we now know that we have M9 Ti user in Singapore...haha

Titanium coated and solid titanium lens are different class all together...

Only the Japan Edition Titanium MP or M7 solid Titanium with lens set will be a perfect match to the M9 Ti to complete the solid titanium collection....:D
