My Leica M9 with a Reid Taylor Hobson 50mm f/2 lens. I was in HK and was told by a friend that this is the 50mm lens to own and use. From what I understand, it was built based on plans "licensed" from Leica. Lens should be about 70 years old. Price is about that of a used 50mm Summicron.

how come your Leicavit got curvy trigger. Its not the same as my Leicavit, the trigger is just a sharp edge.
P.S. ok researched it is called SCNOO Winder for Leica IIIc. Any idea if it works for IIIg?

The earlier rapid winder from Leica, codename SCNOO, are used on Leica II, III, IIIa, IIIb...you need a different version of SCNOO-C for Leica IIIc due to the slight increase in length (3mm) of the body.
Later model like your IIIg uses the rapidwinder Leicavit with similar mechanism like the Leicavit M.
