Sorry guys... I couldn't resist. My quest for the ultimate M2 ended in grabbing a good deal on ebay on a Rolleiflex 2.8F and now a Leica IIIG with 50 Elmar f2.8 and a Leciavit!!!

Can't wait to cut my TriX lead and load some to shoot my first roll.

Wow...roundg has pass his LTM  to you...congrat...you are the man...

Having same rig like Wongsan...now you need 35mm brightline viewfinder SBLOO with 35mm f2 (8 element) chrome LTM...or 50mm f2.5 Hektor LTM or 50mm f3.5 Red Scale Elmar LTM...bro, here will help you to hunt...:bsmilie:

right saying... that's why I can't keep the iiig. If i kept, I am afraid that I will buy a LTM summicron 35mm or at least 35mm 2.8 summaron sooner or later even I know I don't need them.

I still have one set of SBLOO and even have red scale, but they are for my iiif.

Don't think little of the elmar 50/2.8. It's a great lens.

Sorry, big guy. U know we are teasing you.

You are really fast and furious, cannot catch up...:bsmilie:

Of course bro. None taken lah. Anyway, got enough LTM to pursue further. Infact, I think i should cut down my lenses.

How could you? Should be concurrent acquisition!
You just need more LTM, can be used on Screw-mount & M.:bsmilie::bsmilie:

Doc, I am not like you lah. Buy a Hassey and bought the whole collection of accessories?! Haha!!!

Ultimately, I am still a user more than a collector.

I'm no collector but accumulator. I will use the lenses that I have cos part of the fun & joy for me is to compare the different lenses. I ended up liking them all. SO there isn't a bad lens in that sense for me at least.
Only if I feel that a lens is too "precious" to use, I'll sell and maybe get another with same optical formula that I will use instead, eg of lenses that are too precious to use and I've sold are the BP Cron35Asph & BP Lux50preAsph.

I chanced upon this lens when I was bidding on a CZJ50f2LTM from the same seller a few months ago. What caught my attention was its length! It's a very long & skinny lens and I have not heard of a "Triotar" before. The seller said it's a super rare lens in LTM. It was just a few minutes before auction end so I did a quick search on Google and found out that it's actually a very popular & common lens in M42 mount.
I was pleasantly surprised by its performance & and ease of focus. Minimum focus is less than 1.5m which is close for a RF telephoto lens. Thought I'll share with you guys.

At first glance I thought you compressed your images haha! This indeed very interesting object to "accumulate", so shiny!

Oh wow! This is really a very fine accumulation, so sharp even at close subject, normally old lens better perform on long distance subject. It's a gem.

That's why I share lor! ;)
It's really a gem! Bokeh also smooth.
I'm very amazed by this lens! Benny was also amazed when I showed him the photos of himself-no PP at all!
Another old telephoto lens that is very sharp at close distance is the Tri-element Elmar90mm.

With this one must walk extra carefully - so long that it may hit door handles and worse still people...

But I don't disagree it shoots good pics. :)
