It would be nice, but I doubt it will happen. Especially for Canon, who has long left this obsolete field/technology. Nikon, perhaps, as an exercise to reinforce their brand heritage. But more likely to be either Voigtlander/Epson or Sony/Zeiss.

I just got the Canon35mmf1.5 before Christmas. Will let you know Max when I'm ready to let go.
