Now my wait is complete. CLA'd Canon Sonnar 50 f1.5 LTM from evilbay. Good clean copy with the oil cleaned on aperture blades. Some light scratches on front element, other than that everything smooth incl. the bokeh.

With my mint Walz hood with 4 filters and case.
The hood fits a generic 55mm front cap, which I just happened to have spare for my R-lenses. Yeah!!! Thanks Hacker for the hood and some colored filters. Finding 40mm filters is a beach. :-(

At last... from left: Nikkor 50 f1.4 LTM, Nikkor 85 f2.0 LTM, Leica 50 Rigid Summicron f2.0, Leica 35 Summicron ver 4, Canon 50 f1.2 LTM, Canon Sonnar 50 f1.5 LTM with Walz Hood, Topcor 50 f2.0. Of course, the bodies to go with these lenses... Shinatro Blackpaint M3 and Leica M8 Chrome.

Yes, it's 43mm. Post for WANT TO BUY. I am sure some of our bros got spares or they are moving on to M9. If not, you can order online from Popflash. You may want to combine orders to save on shippment.

Yes, it's 43mm but with 0.5 thread pitch. Leica E43 is 0.5 thread pitch, B+W E43 is 0.75 thread pitch. Sometimes, B+W can fit but best to try first b4 you order.

Mike, if you noticed the pics I have on top. My Nikkor is using a 43mm B+W UV Haze filter. Seems ok, but if I remember correctly my UV/IR is from Leica.

The Leica is a great camera, still better than the M8 in many ways. The vignetting can be set manually, but if I forget to, then it is fairly obvious.
