i'm still to make a conclusion on the rangefinder coupled adaptor...

the nikkor-s millennium unfortunately is not a sonnar, but a gauss design. the olympic and millennium models differ from the usual nikkor-s sonnars... but here are the other 2 sonnars.

I find this rather puzzling, zeiss designed the modern sonnar to be optimised at f2.8, yet when stopped down to this aperture, the blades don't quite form a nice "circle" thus creating those ugly fuzzy bokeh balls.... perhaps get the lens optimised for f1.5 and have focus shift at f4? lesser of the evil maybe? :dunno:
