afterall the guess, no one willing to make a call to confirm. anyway sigma does have a 18-200 non-VR that is equipped with internal motor for the use with d40/60.
and yes, they don name it HSM.

If rumours are to be believed, and everyone says they know.. then end of August:

- Sony will be announcing somethinig
- Nikon will be announcing something
- Canon will be anouncing something
