Can know where is the best places that u will recommend to buy the latest sony vegas software? Thinking of buying 1.

I asked here cos searching using search functions shows no results.

You can try Treasure Productions for any version of Vegas. Challenger sell the Movie Studio versions but maybe not Vegas Pro. You can also check with Aone.com who are the distributor and also sell retail.

Thks guys, bought the Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition version 8 at $140 sealed.

Dunno cheap or not, but i found it, and will not wanna waste time on $10 to $20 dollars different.

Now need to have a good desktop.

Just wondering, which video card will work best? Cos for a computer idiot like me, i see price only, $thnk $300 is very good liao.

Can this version edit .m2ts AVCHD or not? using Canon HF100.

Looks like most people here prefers Sony Vegas. Been trying out other softwares, but now time to make purchase and still undecided.

Any major differences between Sony Vegas 8 Pro (too expensive!) and this Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition version 8?

Pro too expensive, and many functions we will not use. Buy this is good enough.

Anyway, i like sony vegas due too interface friendly, unlike final cut, and also sony easy to use.
