[ Shopping ] - Price of E-PL1

I just bought the E-PL1 this evening at $850 with a 8gb card at Challenger Hougang Mall, sales person, Marcus. I believe this is a very very good price

anyway, got shock when some1 came to the store this evening asking for the same price but credit card payment, i can only offer him $871 when he insist on credit card

he didn't really complain as he though 850 was credit card and he didn't have that much cash with him

I'm surprised challenger actually sells E-PL1 at the lowest price, quoted price is at least $40 lower than popular shops for the same package.

Even for some computer stuffs, they sell cheaper than sim lim, got my mouse there $20 cheaper.

lol, u nvr ask, i nvr give, and beside, if you compare Hougang Mall with other popular Challenger like Funan & Jurong Point, our business is consider pretty bad as they have tourist so I'm ready to give the lowest price that even once i sold to a customer a Canon 550D, earning him only $1

and not really sim lim is the cheapest, once I have a guy standing at my counter for bout 10mins looking at my Nikon L21 price & after that he start scolding his mum for impulse buying, asking her why she bought the same camera at $215 while we sell at $139? the funnest part is I even offer him at the price of $122, and he start cursing at his mum & i was like oO

yeah true but in this instance very few might know that certain challenger outlet sell lower than other outlets... I'm a challenger member and always buy stuff but I didn;t know this also hehehe if only I knew I would have bought my EPL1 at challenger :sweat:

Challenger Funan sells around the same price. I didn't know they sell cheap until I saw this thread. So next time buy camera must visit challenger also.
