haha... yah man... i need a break for a while... have been out every saturday morning for my own shooting... anyway... if we have outing, think we need to plan on the place and theme... also what to do next... maybe go to camera shops for equipment checking out and proceed to a night shot location...

so if we know what everyone's genre of shooting is, we can plan accordingly... sequence of whole day shoot might be like this...
1. Meet up, start shoot in the morning or afternoon...
2. go camera shops look at stuffs and equipment discussion during lunch, break or dinner
3. go for night shoot at place of choice... to confirm the place as many of times we do not have a ideal where to go...

this is a nice group to be in... cheers

i don't know where to post this... but here's a humble shot of the outing yesterday... something i always like to shoot... it's always about light and shadow for me... i'm a Black & White man... hope some of you share some shots... and POST GROUP PHOTO...

i think i was getting a mental block on what to shoot yesterday... haha... maybe because i don't have a macro lens to shoot insects and flowers or things that are "tiny"...

Well ppl i would give my suggestion hor

1: Shooting outing may not necessary be the whole day.. It can be just 3 hrs or 2hrs or so..
2: If you are going to a location. Stick with it and complete it.
3: Come prepare. If you are going places such as Spore Zoo. I think the telephoto lens would be the prefer choice. I think a Marco lens would not really serve well. ( my tot)
4: Knoe ur game plan and prepare a back up.
5: Try not to have too many outing at one go. IT will be exhaustive.
6: Why not try to go Museum or Event. Such as Drift Event coming up soon.
7: Dont be shy and take joke with a pinch of salt. Dont be too sensitive and start to get work up over some comment. Example Flash bounce etc.

Just my tots.. Reason i dont shoot that much that day. Coz i dont have a choice of lens to use cept the kit lens. tried the kit lens at a Zoo and Botanic garden and the shot i can only take is all scenery.

My PNS seem to be working more better in such situation... muahahahaha

same thought about shooting macro... no dedicated macro lens to shoot... so a PnS will come handy my canon powershot!!! at least i can be a canon user for once... haha... i think the fact is most of us do not have a "collection" of lenses to use(i only have one now)... you can shoot some nice macros even with a powershot look at mine here...

i agree that shooting need not be the whole day... but i think many of us are pretty "on the ball" wanting to shoot more... as long as everyone is having fun and want more after the day's theme, they can continue and the rest that are tired can go back rest and do their own stuff...

need not be shooting too... a movie day or dinner date will be nice too... cheers... hmmm... i think it's good to take things with a pinch of salt... everyone has their own way of doing and saying things... so usually, i close one eye to things... it's all about having some practical fun in the first place...

other than running for shelter when we just reach and entertaining ourselves for a while doing group shots... we had a good time... think the highlight of that day was the monkeys... and i don't understand why everyone has a bit of fascination or curiousity of the Blogger called xiao xue of something like that...

This group started from all of us, coz without all of us this group wont even exist..we inject fun into photography..young and old, pros or not, we are open to all, join us and u will see wat its like..like chris allen would say "there are no boundaries'................
