Beautiful Memories .... good quality service, good quality prints @ 50cts a piece for 4R

Grace Digital lab ... Simon my fav ... calls me when my prints are done, leave me to enjoy my kopi around the corner prints are fantastic too.

Both Fuji Machines

This thread been awhile but just want share my recent experience with them.. Sent 6 rolls of vacation shots in, most came out with bluish/greenish cast all over. I know some was due to my fault overexposing too much and polasier. But I only request for reprints that I know is a result of their print jobs. Which means only the most obvious ones. Imagine stone carvings or base reliefs (stone) has this bluish/greenish over them, sometimes it even appear bronzy. So i requested for my 1st reprints. They obliged and Mr Quek do the prints for me.

When home, found more such pictures. Go there again request my 2nd reprints and collect my 1st request(happy). In total i think they redo like 20 reprints... But this time the lady say 'Do you business very diffiicult'. I very angry already now. Then when i try request again and ask for opinion (for 3 shots i not very sure one if its my fault or them), she say 'You shoot too blue. Dev too white later you say no color, too dark you say blue'. Wah lau... this is too much. Before that I consulted another shop, and the boss told me it can be done. And if he develop it, he would take out more blue. (I don't know if he say say lah but that's how i feel too lor) Anyway she went ask mr quek and he obliged. But I wont go back again.

I found scratches on my neg too. 1 entire roll and few on another. They didn't tell me when i collect my prints, only found out when home (should have check). When back ask them, they say, 'ya she (pointing to another staff) told me that day.' I mean at least indicate or tell me when i collect lor. It could be my fault, treating things like that just make you doubt more. Now say what also can lor. Very fed up!

I forgot to add... I've been sending my prints to them for the past 2-3 years there has never been such serious problem as now. I lost faith...Bad attitude when busy i can understand, but professionalism is a must. A request for reprints is a must if you do a bad job. Don't blame me lor... Don't treat everyone an idiot.

i stay all the way east and i always make my way all the way west to grace digital lab to get a print from them. simply good plus mr simon will do colour correction for you. and it's cheap, and excellent service. never had to wait beyond time frame stated.

don't think i'm helping someone of a fellow religion or anything, (not that religion has anything to do with it.. except the shop and the owners) i'm not even christian.. but i still print my stuff there. excellent everything.

Where is digital lab and what are its charges for printing slides? :dunno:

;( Sad to know that we are in the same boat.
Spend this amount (50cts per pc is quite ex) and yet get this kindof XYZ service ;<..

Now, i stick to KT at Chinatown. Hmmm, i am not very good at seeing colour.
But so far, I am quite satisfy at their printing.
As long as the colour don't have too much yellow or too much red and look very natural, to me i am happy with the quality.
I used to sent my ROM picture to Konata for printing. The result is different from the set given by my photographer. The colour look dull. And i resent it to photofriend, and is too redish. After that, i just gave up and give the "bad" printout to my bf's mother to keep :P...
No harm trying KT, quite convenient also, just 5min walk from Chinatown MRT :).
:p

If u are stay in west zone u may try send to ML colour ctr ( Maio Laan colour ctr), the quality  same as KT, they located at Bukit Batok st 11 opp NTUC or behind Macdonald Blk 154. looking up for Fuji green colour sign board.

I stayed at redhill.. Bukit Batok too far :)...

So surprised to get so many complains about Konota.

I sent my film there a couple of times but I found that I did not like the prints. Seems like I may be the only one around
I'm not sure what the reason was (maybe my fault) but the prints looked quite pixelated, and I really didn't like that. Have never had that happen at other labs before.

Try Pro-M Photo @ #02-62 Peninsula Plaza

Wierd... ever since I learnt of konota from CS, all of my colour neg films will travel all the way from jurong all the way to city hall just to get developed and printed. Service is generally excellent, and processing time very fast. I have no issues, though I'm wondering how come occasionally they give the 5R coupons free and sometimes dun give.

Digital wise, which I rarely print, I do it at either a kodak or fuji shop near my place. As far as I am concerned if the input digital image is good, the output will be top notch.
