That's because he used his 85f1.8 prime lens which has a magnification ratio of 0.11x to take one of the photos and the other photo was taken with his 70-210mm lens at 85mm focal length which has a differnent magnification factor.

If the camera and subjects are at the same place, and focal length and focus distance are identical, you should get identical photos. The difference either means a different subject-camera distance, or different focal lengths.

My mistake...;p

Could probably be due to the 85mm on the 70-201mm lens not being accurate? Since TS mentioned that he took both pics from exactly the same position and distance...:dunno:
