the pentax mount one seems hard to find in singapore. the shop i frequent says their supplier hasn't brought it in.

haha... i guess i'm interested it cos of its versatility and weight... i find the 18-200 and 18-250 a bit big and heavy :sweat: makes the small k-x look very unbalanced.

From the sigma's website the 18-125 is heavier at 505g compared to the 18-200 at 405g:sweat:

It is also bigger at 74 x 88.5 mm whereas the 18-200 is 70 x 78.1 mm ...

Also from the review the 18-200 has less distortion than the 18-125 ....


btw comparing the 18-125mm F3.8-5.6 DC OS HSM (but pentax mount dosen't have OS) and 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC .

Maybe , as it dosen't have OS but then its only 20g lighter but overall its still bigger ?

hi guys, u all get it wronged. Mine is Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC. Not the 18-125mm F3.8-5.6 DC OS HSM.... Obviously OS as well as HSM take up more space and put on some weight... So mine should be 385g in weight to be exact.

anyway, i think mystery solved. the unit discussed here is the non-HSM version. hence, its only 385g.
