
Well by looking at #2, notice that the focus is only at the very tip of the flower (closest to us). Less than 1mm behind the area of focus, can see the flower was already out of focus. Sharp: you get to see all the fine details.. like at the very tip. Sorry I don't have better photos, just found this in my FZ5 archive..
Mind you, this is a commonly found flower in singapore, it being not bigger than 3cm. Everyone of us should have seen it b4.
Imagine at 12X zoom, where 1mm of sway forward and back of your body is exaggerated 12X. OIS is only for up down sideways movement i think..

On retrospective, I should have use F4.5 or 5.6 so that a bit more of the core remains in focus..
