Hi, may i know what macro lens are you using, feel like buying a macro, and heard tamron 90mm Di is good, can give bit advice?? Thanks...

Like MelvynYeo mentioned above. But if you are really serious about macro shooting thingy, go for the Tamron 180mm, Canon 180mm (if you are a Canon user), Nikon 200mm (if you are a Nikon user)& Sigma 180mm. In the long run, this are the more versatile lens you'll be using most of the time in most of your macro shots. Hope I'm not suggesting another no brainer thingy again. Good luck.

nice series, #3 looks really cute :D

Thanks Melvyn & Spectrum, I also bought Tamron 90 just now at MS @570
I just noted spectrum's mail about 180mm, sigh......just a bit late, I already bought....
Btw, my 7D is 1.5X 180mm = 270mm?? since I dont have any standard range for potrait, so i think 90mm can act as good potrait lens too...

btw, how to post picture here?? tried so many time but still blurrr:embrass:

nice shots..
but Melvyn.. the two mosquitoes suck u at the same time ??

Thanks tchuanye! I didn't LET them actually;p They are already halfway though when I spotted them. Since the damage is done, I decided to shoot them instead of killing them.

Cheers

This series is taken at AMK garden. Please note the mossies and ant problem are quite bad.;p

Hi Melvyn, i have tried the tamron 90, but i think the color that you shoot with 'reverse lens' looks much much nicer leh.. i think that Macro lens itself wont produce such good picture like yours with the "reverse" thing...am i right??

Fuji 602Z are known to produce nice colour out of camera. That's is why the reverse lens picts have nicer colour. DSLR have more "netural" colour so that you have more room to play with (unless you preset the parameters in the camera). I prefer natural colours so I didnt push up the saturation during PS.

Cheers

like pic #1, #8,#9.... NICE
