i guess they decided to drop the compulsory Yahoo account just to use Flickr. i couldn't even log in for a month
Is it? Think I'm still using my old yahoo account (from eons ago) to access it, have not noticed any change with regards to log in.

No, it's compulsory to register using Yahoo account
Strange, I didn't experience the downtime for the past many months. Only a couple of website display glitches when they 'upgrade' their displays.

I never use multiply before. Can u share in what ways it is better than Flickr(iam using)?
FYI, Multiply was shut down. Vaguely recall it. It was a social networking site (similar to facebook).

Old users still can log in with their old accounts. Just that new accounts have to register with yahoo... But flickr have been left to rot under Yahoo ownership for a few years now, only recently in the past year they suddenly realize they are no longer competitive and started making changes... a little late actually. the flickr community have mostly moved on.

So mostly switch to 500px?
I find that Photobucket resolution is not as good as Flickr.
I know flickr can do that via privacy settings (each photo has its own privacy setting)

Most sites will have some privacy options, with varying degrees of control/permissions to achieve what you're looking for.
E.g. With facebook and google+, you can choose to share images right down to specific people, or have private links to non-public albums. With 500px, it's either private or public. Photobucket is one of the free services I'm aware of that has password-protected albums, there may be others I don't know about. With Flickr, you can generate a guest pass to share private images/albums with specific people: https://www.flickr.com/help/sharing/#2184

But as for flickr, when people access into my page, it show all the photos than showing individual albums
The default page is the photostream. There's a toolbar there, with a link to Albums.
If you want them to see albums then you should provide the link to the albums page. It should end with /sets/.
E.g. https://www.flickr.com/photos/(YOUR FLICKR USERNAME)/sets
