I've been scrambling to find a decent UDMA card reader that supports fast data transfers on UDMA cards. There are some brands available, but there's almost no multi-card readers that can support UDMA speeds.

I stumbled upon this site: http://www.hjreggel.net/cardspeed/index.html#cs_udmacf.html that does a very comprehensive review of all cards/card readers (similar to Rob's CF database), and I found this brand of card readers called Digisol.

Damn cheap (total cost is approx ~S$16, but no USB cable though), and looks blazingly fast (see review for a older model). Best of all, supports all the card formats, and all of them can be accessed at once (typical card readers can only allow you to access 1 slot at a time).

I bought a few to test out, so will post my findings. For those that are interested to get this, the URL is here.

Apologies if I sound excited, as I finally found my ideal card reader.. :sweatsm:

sounds good.... can i topang you to get one for me also?

wow sounds gd leh...
i have a few card readers.... all cannot make it... gets faulty after a while... not sure if it is cable or port's prob.... but e site u posted is not a local site, any idea where to get it?

PM me if you getting it... If you don't mind, I thinking of getting a few.

The card readers have arrived...

I don't have any applications to track the speed, but copying the files from my Extreme IV cards were at approx 26MB/s (from Vista's computation).

They are FAST.

Some of you PMed me indicating your interest in the item. Unfortunately, I didn't get any extras, so I guess a better option would be for some of you to pool your orders together to get the readers.
