The Paralaxita species are among the most beautiful of the the Malayan butterflies. They reside on the dimly lit undergrowth of the thick tropical primary forest .
Nothing is known as yet of their early stages. The genus is Neomalayan, with a small extension into south Mynmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

Sexual dimorphism at its best , when I first shot these two , I mistook them as two species but that are actually a male and female of the same species
