Beautiful updates of the butterflies:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Always enjoyed and love your butterflies shot and thanks for sharing your camera settings.

I have tried twice for butterfly shooting and both attempts failed to capture sharp images.

One question: Do you use single AF or multiple AF points for focus? If using single AF point where do you focus on the butterfly?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,
David

Hi David,

Thanks for dropping by and the kind words.

I use single point AF, and preferably on the eye of the butterfly.

Blur image could be due to either handshake or subject motion blur.

I use AV mode 90% of the time and let the camera do the work.

This small article written by me awhile back might be of help in your stalking of butterflies.

Cheers!
