rtbh, good job on nailing this beautiful lacewing. i feel that u can use a slightly bigger apeture to get a cleaner, greener background as well as bump up the shutter speed, looks a tad bit underexposed.

Recently shot and positively identified as the Indian Red Admiral instead of the Painted Lady Vanessa cardui

Butterfly Species #286 for the Singapore Checklist ......

Sharing a record shot of this new re-discovery taken today , though Nacaduba angusta kerriana was recorded in early authors' checklists , however this species has not been sighted in recent memory.

It was my good fortune to encounter this mating pair this afternoon, on close examination on its marking it has been confirmed as species #286(rediscovery) for the Singapore Checklist
