The Golden Temple
Very calming and soothing area.

shot jpg (newbie mistake) for this photo a few months after i got my 400d years back :P just burned off a faint water pipe at the bottom of the photo in the water, and very very minor curve balance (love the 400). tripod mounted and only got a couple pics before three 7ft guards (they seemed that tall to me :D) hand gestured for me to keep my tripod. oh, the edit was also done years back :( found this pic since i'm trying to reorganize and get old stuff printed out :D

@adrian_4781
love your saturated style, but the last pic reminds me too much of overdone hdr. which i think is a great tool, but alot of pics overdo it a tad too much.

guys this is the second reminder that non-technical images, snapshots and every snaps should go to the respective photo galleries to be shared with the rest of the forum.

Taken with 5D and a borrowed 35 1.4:lovegrin: love the lens

From the number of pages of posting deleted, I could understand why so many CSer do not understand the requirements to post here. You could find many picture of actual Nikon camera show here ?

i seriously get kinda confused on what can post and wat cannot...hmm...

those are posted before we decided that there's too much junk snapshots in here.
from now on any non technical snaps that ends up in the equipment forum instead of the galleries will be moderated.

ok SilverPine, for your sake, i shall explain again what 'technical' images are meant to be.

technical images that you take for the purpose of displaying or comparing certain characteristics of the equipment, often accompanied by EXIF data and 100% crops.

you can discuss about CA, DOF, boken, front focus issues, noise, etc here but i strongly advise against posting irrelevant mumbo jumbo everyday snapshots which have no constructive 'technical' value.

this is the equipment discussion section of the forum and recently it has been cluttered with all sorts of pictures ranging from the photographer's previous meal to baby pictures, all which belong to the photo galleries and not here, thus the mods have to step in to prevent the situation from getting worse.

so i'll need your cooperation to keep this forum relevant to its original intentions.

thanks in advance.
