hi guys, this is my first post..

taken a few days ago at Jurong Bird Park with my EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens

My first post in this thread. Taken on Xmas day in the mountains of Nantou, Taiwan with my Canon S5 - f/8, exp 1/320, ISO 200, aperture 2.8

I'm still even learning how to C&C!

But casually speaking, while I suppose the 1st pic is demonstrating joy between siblings, I can't feel what the 2nd pic is trying to bring across. I suppose better ones should not need to explain?

Btw, can you advise how many number of pics did you take to arrive at these 2 shots (assuming this is done in 1 session)? That'll give me a gauge how much potential I have to get to where you are! haha..

for #1 i took continuous shot at the kids with my 135L

for #2 i'm using a 135 also. but because i'm trying ot to catch their attention. i stand at 1 position took 1 shot to get exposure...(roughly) then move up to the exact spot i want and take 2 shots...

i'm also learning...if u see my flicker...u will notice how green i am and still learning...just so i jump fr a 450D to a 5D2
