Hmmm sorry to say this but i find that theres too much shadow for this pic esp on the right.

seems a bit noisy... intentional?

maybe can try cropping away a bit of the top of the head to give a tighter crop. just a thought. might be more impacting.

There is no right or wrong. It depends on waht the protograher wanted to express. The 1st shot shows that the area is full of trees and the precious sunlight appears at the end of the way...
