hi,

can m4/3 camera detect if you are manual focusing using other brand lens with adapter??
like if you use the m4/3 lens, when u do manual focus, it will zoom in for you to see.
I'm thinking of getting other brand lens for macro since m4/3 macro lens is zzz.
i'm using oly e-pm1 by the way

nope, at least for my e-pl2. you have to set the camera to manual focus and zoom in manually if required.

A lens that was sold, Nikkor 105/2.5 tack sharp wide open, a little too heavy though. Shaggy concert @ F1 2011. Was using this lens with Sony Nex 5N at the same time, interestingly though not surprisingly, on EP3 most shots were done at Iso 800 to be able to be handholdable, while on 5N had to use mostly iso1600/3200. So the IS in EP3 does work well, at least 1-2 stops advantage in reality for me.
