Went out for some light exercise ... some samples from the $200 Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f/2.8-4 (3rd version, Komine), mounted on Olympus OM-4, Superia 800.

Day - reds are screwed up by srgb of course, totally different in adobe rgb

I haven't process film for more than a decade......:embrass: I just sent to lab and get it processs and scan........

Thanks ! Must try them, even if scanning is small, just for internet use. Got hundreds of negatives unscanned, no more time :cry:

AFAIK, lab scanners give you a very high res digital file :)

do they? most i have come across are giving 1500x1000 (give or take a few pixels) only.

I'm paying for 3091x2048 Tiff file.....around $17 per roll.

Fotohub do ofter higher resolution scanning, but quite ex......will cost around $8 per film....

The grain of Neopan 1600 really look nice.
