i bought a few from konota sometime back....
XPAN. Ilford Delta 400.
about 6+pm, on my way home. xpan was loaded with less than half roll of delta 400, saw this procession... bang bang bang... shoot finished very fast, ran home looked for more asa 400 film. didnt have. war piang!! bang table! graped dslr and ran out... too late, and game over.

Anyway here are some shots from my cycling trip in Bintan, went there only with an R3A and a 40mm F1.4 Norkton. Gotta love that 1.4 lens wide open! Super shallow DOF!
Film was Fuji Superia 200 and Kodak 400, B&Ws are digitally created.
Didn't have much energy left to take photos after all that cycling though.. haha..

Master boochap, never pushup ur b&w??? iso 100 can easily push up to asa400. I also carry a roll asa1600 in my bag or 800asa. Thats the beauty of B&W film, when I ask if can push up my color neg in the lab... The people thinks I am siao, saw in some book stating that pushing of neg film is possible. 1st pic dam nice

ayooo, not master enough mah. dunno how to dev push film. ;p
later i going to stock up more high speed film.
you started dev yourself right? just look on the inside of your film cardbox box or on the developr bottle. it should have the timings for pushing the film.
if not google for the timings. Also b&w has so much latitude that you can not push dev and still get a useable image.
The first 3 colors pix were fuji, then the next 2 color sampan were kodak?
Look like Bintan is a nice take cover place for the wkend. which resort u stay?

i've been shooting wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much and its taking a toll on my measly pay

Nope, only the dog is Kodak Gold, I think the 2 sampans look a bit grainy coz I had to digitally pull it (overexposed).
I stayed on the Eastern beach, Trikora Beach. Stayed at Yasin Bungalows (USD$8-12 per night). It's totally away from all the touristy places. Take ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Tanjung Pinang, from there taxi to the resort. On the beach can cycle up and down, pretty flat except for 2 hills.
From the resort too far to walk to anything v. interesting. Bicycle can rent from the sister resort of Yasin.
If you going, just make sure u bring DAMN a lot of repellent (and maybe a few different kinds) because the mosquitoes there are elite commandos. I had 2 mosquito coils, repellent x 2, mosquito net, electronic repellent and blanket. STILL got bitten enough to be woken from my slumber at night. No joke!

Abt 1kg with a lens.
Any body has problems with the RF for Xpan??? Seems to go off easily... Mine does.
