I think you can suggest the 2 man above to cast in the Indonesian version of The God Fathers... they really have that very "zai" look. "zai" in singlish means Steady. :bsmilie:

By the way... did u ask them to pose? I noticed that in most of your shots, their finders and what they were doing with their hands always capture my attention.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Gosh I wish I had the discipline to do a "Picture a Day" project. What film did you use for these?

Hi

It's my 2008 project to ensure I keep challenging myself :) That, and my new blog which I'm using to keep me on my toes producing work worthy of showing :)

I used fuji PRO 400H. All the pictures posted here were with this film, though I have done some curves in Photoshop so the contrast might be higher than what the film inherently produces.

The difficulty of dating the photos accurately, esp those over several days on the same roll, plus the convenience of digital, does mean most of my a-pic-a-day shots are with my digital SLR. However, I still carry my RF daily and shoot with it very regularly and choose photos from it for the project.

red dawn.. i like ur blog.. will be adding it to my fav list to gain some inspiration. Oh yeah, the magnum stories that i got from u, well i can say its an amazing source of inspiration :)

Oh one thing, indonesian movies is not good as they were in seventies, particularly i like the scene when melancholy actress, stood alone and waiting to be introduced by the actor

Leitz 90mm Tele-Elmarit "thin", my favorite tiny 90mm, almost same size and weight as 50mm Summicron.
Shot at f/2.8 with Fuji Neopan 1600 (now available at Konota), developed in Tmax.

Good job on the Neopan  Seems to have lost a little bit of contrast over the years and gotten a bit more grain but still looks good. Adds an 'old'-ish feel to the photos.

sharing some photos with hexanon 50/2, lucky shd 100, processed and scanned by ngebor... need to check with him if want to know about the detail of the processing...
