thanks. i had to further drop the exposure in lightroom by another 1 stop to make it more visible.

wonder if theres any general rule of thumb to bring out lightrays when making the exposure..

you are right! i did not take note of the timing. as a tourist and with kid around, wait for the correct timing may not be an available option at that time. how i wish the sky is still a little blue instead of black. a little wait after the sunset should be just the right time!
