What are you doing at Beach Road at 2am????? Please... go home and get some sleep!

By the way... this is really nice...

it would be perfect if you have removed the small little dust particle at the shadow. :)

Yea, damn happening, major mosquito haven!!!! :bsmilie:

Heard from a friend the bulldozers came in to do their job.

When I went there it was sealed up, had to pull apart the plywood planks to get into Tang Dynasty. Well, its a deserted place compared to its glory days. I saw one guy walking around, looked damn stone, its either he was a illegal immigrant hiding in there or he was a drug abuser.

I did see some syringes there around.... Anyway, that place was quite "dirty" la, my RF was working fine until when I reach the pagoda area, the focusing ring sort of "jammed" it got so tight, I had to use all 5 fingers to turn it when taking a shot but the wierd thing is that once I left that area, it was back buttery smooth. Am not a believer in the ghost thingy but still, definitely something "dirty" in there. Not to mention, it was bloody daylight & I was perspiring like no tomorrow.

if U guys remember the Tang Dynasty theater back in the glory days, when I was there, I swear U could hear so many bats in there from outside, took my long ago NS techtical torch, the surefire torch, when inside the theater, wa lau, the bats in there was damn loud, shine the torch, could see hundreds of them hanging around & the place smells like batu caves with all that bat ****

Yeah,2nd that..its dirty. More dirty near the pagoda area.
My Handphone keeps vibrating with no calls or message receive, even i off the phone totally.
Gone there with few friends. There will be such "activities" going well since its an abandoned area. Reminds myself not to say or thought negatives issue and u be safe inside.

"Wah..many mosquito, leh.." - something like this will triggered army of them non stop.. so watch your mouth in places like this.appened to a friend

The only thing i enncounter, meter in my dslr gives under metering. SO forget about the dslr, shoot with manual on QL-17.

Interesting! Shall we hold a RF shoot there? Can we still go there and shoot?

Chiif, has he got sunburn or is the red skin tone characteristic of the film?

hahaha... was using an expired slide. Hence, colour is alittle off. :)

Slides are the most difficult to scan medium... very difficult to get the correct tone and colour.

Was trying out a simple shot for BW with ISO1600 and f11 in a dark area

Okay I'm going to bend the rules a little, posting some photos from a 35mm non-rangefinder camera.

These are photos from my recent trip to Yunan China (Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shangrila).

Shot on mostly Porta 400VC. Taken with my Nikon FE2, Tokina 28-70, Voigtlander 40 and 58mm, scanned with the Epson V700 (after much pain and frustration with removing dust and correcting colour!).
