Please let the management of National Museum and the artist to make decision.

They have made their decision and have posted their decision on the website. You can also call for additional requirements. There are also lots of signs to publicly inform the same.

For you, you have already made your own baseless decision and now pushed it to the management.

Please engage brain before engaging mouth again :nono:. Your posts add nothing of value, helps nobody, but reveals how empty your thought processes are.

where was this shot taken?

How did you manage to get into Tang Dynasty? Must be quite a happening place to shoot considering it had been 'abandoned' for the past few years.

Yes, it's gone now.

FED-2 with industar 61 L/D lens, using Ilford Super XP2 film, taken in taiwan

Yeah. Agree with Merelyok.

It's an unconventional composition but it works!

Yea, damn happening, major mosquito haven!!!! :bsmilie:

Heard from a friend the bulldozers came in to do their job.

When I went there it was sealed up, had to pull apart the plywood planks to get into Tang Dynasty. Well, its a deserted place compared to its glory days. I saw one guy walking around, looked damn stone, its either he was a illegal immigrant hiding in there or he was a drug abuser.

I did see some syringes there around.... Anyway, that place was quite "dirty" la, my RF was working fine until when I reach the pagoda area, the focusing ring sort of "jammed" it got so tight, I had to use all 5 fingers to turn it when taking a shot but the wierd thing is that once I left that area, it was back buttery smooth. Am not a believer in the ghost thingy but still, definitely something "dirty" in there. Not to mention, it was bloody daylight & I was perspiring like no tomorrow.

if U guys remember the Tang Dynasty theater back in the glory days, when I was there, I swear U could hear so many bats in there from outside, took my long ago NS techtical torch, the surefire torch, when inside the theater, wa lau, the bats in there was damn loud, shine the torch, could see hundreds of them hanging around & the place smells like batu caves with all that bat ****

m7, 75summicron-tri-x

a not so recent chinese opera... i know that it would have been nicer in colour, but i was finishing off a role of tri-x...

I'm starting to really, really dig Tri-X

Catusjack, that looks fine in B&W for me!

ptjw99: smelly tofu, i can smell it from here.. the pics look quite contrasty, did you tweak them?

Royale With Cheese: if i knew can just climb in i would have gone to tang dynasty for an 'adventure' also, too bad its gone now..

Cactus jACK: imho that second picture looks better in b&w than it would in colour.

minimally as some pics came out a wee bit underexposed...used a yellow filter for the shots, the pics have a slight reddish tinge for some reason but i got it like that straight from the shop...

ptjw99, I must say, I really like the first 2 shots. You have an eye for things...

As for the tinge thingy, I suggest that you desaturate the files. When you scan from negatives in colour mode, you will pick up some form of colour cast or tinge. Usually I will do some post processing to correct that and adjust the levels & curve & saturation & sharpen the picture a little to make it look presentable.

Hope that helps.

be careful when using the yellow filter, it can make faces go pale white, esp chinese.

as for the tinge, as chiif pointed out, you would tend to get it if you're scanning as colour negative. so either change the settings of your scanner software to b&w or monochrome negatives, or scan as colour and convert in ps.

;)

leej0038 and merelyok - thanks!! :)

Post more pics !!!

Other subject maybe better on other thread . :dunno:

Ghost !!! Hahaha.. Thought of going in there before, lucky
