All on Canon 50mm F0.95 TV lens.

Generally I find the lens performs super in B&W, examples would be:

but when it comes to color, somehow the contrast just falls shot. Or isit just me? Any guru wanna explain more in depth? Even the Portra 400VC couldnt save the contrast. My PP skill is not that great to bring out the colors, the more I tweek, the more it looks like cross processed lomography pictures! hahaha!

Quote from an infamous Canon Guru....
"The Canon 50mm F/0,95 came out at the peak of B&W when color negative was still at an infant stage. These lenses tend to be lower in contrast"

hehehe, so i guess shoot with higher saturated film?

Older lenses tend to have lower contrast which would have been better for B&W film in the old days. Same thing with my Summilux V2. Surprisingly my 50mm f1.4 Canon is quite punchy with color. A sample below with Lucky 100.

I still prefer my B&W shots to have lots of contrast and grain

 Very interesting! Pockets of places that one sees very rarely. Nice contrasty tones too!

If it was not for the Union gas, would not have guessed that this was in Singapore. And love the contrast of the spiral stairs!
