In order to take those "bridle" shots, those are the basic setup one must have...really nice shots and color...but I know, this may not be your cup of tea.

I'm sure you've got the shortest lens there!

Humbly, hookonclassic, I did not mean to be critical of the set up, in fact I would use the same equipment if I am shooting bird shots. And yes, I have seen some really solid shots of birds.

Just lamenting that parks are getting too crowded with photographers - sometimes scaring away the birds. I think they need to have some infrastructure - like wooden platforms at Sungei Buloh to cater for this activity. Not sure if NParks is looking into the matter.
