Kodachrome, 50 Summilux ASPH

Hi Jack, nice shot, black cat on black asphalt at night, thats a tough metering decision, how did you do it?
thanks. i shot this at 1/10sec, probably about 2 stops under the camera reading. alternatively, you can always use a handheld light meter to get the appropriate ambient reading.
With Leica Summilux & Naughtylux... Any Thing Is Possible...
summilux is so much more tame compared to the "naughty"-one... but it is a good compromise given the weight and size.

Hi Jack, handheld at 1/10, still nice and sharp. well done

Wow! Excellent Shot. Truly great example of skills over gear.
And it reminds me of the giant cityscape photographs on canvas that they sell on IKEA.

nordleadx and ryan, thanks for the kind words. im still fairly new with rangefinders but its nice to hear some good comments, so thanks :)

One of my favorite lens - 50mm Summilux pre-ASPH (E46), love the extended hood, built and size...

It aint bad, dave, you'll get used to it...nice lens

Thanks bro.. Need to play with the straps so that I can get the ideal height. Anyway, glad I am using M8 and not my M3.

you can do the same easily with the m3 set for light zone/hyper focus and snap away. The lens doesn't know an m3 from a brownie
