I have a billingham hadely which is pretty heavy w/o any gear, then there are two leica bodies and 2 lenses, plus misc stuff I use for work, 5 rolls of film, light meter and the list goes on, haha!

Total weight, minimum 3 kilos I guesstimate

Wa, damn hardcore la!

Am using a Billingham 225 or Domke F2 most of the time, 1body, 2 lenses, 4-6rolls of film, ipod, blower, lens tissue, battery, couple of pens, think thats about it! hahaha!

Quite light for me to move around but no doubt the billingham is a stunner in the looks dept but sometimes I do bring my domke f2 out, easier access when seeing people like these sitting beside ronald macdonald.

Just got this lens, a little dusty inside was testing out over the weekend seems everything ok but the contrast is not as good as my CV 40mm F1.4, is this the lens character? Or isit just me?

*edit* forgot to mention, its a Canon 50mm F1.2 LTM

Yea, the lens is sharp but kinda lacking in contrast, maybe need to get it cleaned soon but damn lazy la :bsmilie:

Thanks! Love it too! Cant afford CV 50mm F1.1, so gotta deal with vintage Canon 50mm F1.2 for now! :bsmilie:

Old lens. Nikkor 50/f1.4. Supposed to be "Sonnar" design. They are not in M mount. They are Nikon S or Contax S mount.

Old lenses are just very different from their modern day counterpart.

And they cost just a tiny fraction of the Leica lux... Even with a mint copy of the body....
