Taken at Nishiiki Market @ Kyoto...
Tried aiming 3 time..and still got caught when firing the shutter...Look at the annoying look on her face by the 3rd time i raised my camera...lol

Here's a shot taken wide open with my CV "Bokton" 35mm f/1.2 Ver. II on Legacy Pro 400 film (a.k.a. Neopan 400).

Yes I know its a banal subject, but why not! And the bokeh is to die for IMO :D


Bicycle basket

The bokeh from the 35/1.2 v1/v2 has always been sublime. Milky smooth, yet decently sharp wide open. :)

handshake: pretty good for 100.

being invisible: i think you need to go get some more lessons from the invisible ph t grapher. ;)

Velvia 50, Kyoto Kiyomizudera temple, had a hard time with slides...
took these with Ultron 35mm f1.7

have to on the money with slides, but they really reward you when you catch the right light and meter it right!! these turned out well.

Haha, i sure need some lessons

Thanks CJ, i realised, that unless i use a spot meter, if not, most of the time, its better to give it an extra 1/2 exposure...looking at the slides and scanning or projecting them out are so different...it may look perfectly well expose on the slides but once scan...its under exposed.

I was walking along pontocho when this kid approached me and insist me to take the brochure from him...

it says "NO BUY DAY on 26/11/2011"

I take a few steps back and took a shot of him as he continue walking to me to hand me the brochure..haha

I took this along a back alley...the sky was turning dark ard 4pm...and i saw this beautiful purple flowers....so happened that this picture came out with a purple hue to match the flowers...
