I remember the nokton produce some pretty harsh bokeh, but it looks really pleasant in black and white! at least from your shots!

Here's something you do not see often in RF.... closeups.

due to the nature of the RF focusing, RF is most suitable for normal and wides.

for anything beyong 75mm, composition is more challenging because the frame

is usually small and a fair bit of imagination is required.

i have an under-utilised elmarit 90/f2.8 and i forced myself to use it yesterday.

(together with the czj sonnar).

Shooting at midnight?

yea, shot from around 12mid night till about 3-4am in little india that day.

Thats why I couldnt get up to attend the RFSG outing at AMK. Was smashed out but it was all worth it.

Gary...aka Royale,

i like your nocturnal images. lots of textures, inky black and drama....very diado moriyama...

Great shots, bro! My fave is the first one
Thanks! Love that one too! Very eerie

Hi Gary,
I love them!
They're quiet and gritty all at once... :)

Thanks Day! Not as silent & quiet as your but I do love the dirty gritty feel from the film at night.

Thanks bro, not yet reach Diado stage yet, the guy is the pro, I'm the apprentice!

Thanks!.. I actually have found it's bokeh to be quite okay... I won't call it harsh...

You are right...most of us don't usually talk about 75mm or 90mm lens unless for face portrait...nice composition...somehow lady's leg work for me...:)

Really like this shot. Very Very nice. The mood is well captured, can tell the photographer is having hell lots of fun there. Interestingly your arms' angle are in sync with her flower garland.
