It's the rainy season in Japan. Benny's Summilux 50/1.4 ASPH sure is an impressive lens wide open.

Jon, this is on film? Nice. Never thought Mr. Benny Ng would buy a modern lens.

Ah...Benny Ng's modern Leica lens...that's news...:D
benny has secretly had this lens for over 2 yrs now... i think he just prefers to eenie-meenie-mynee-moe among his canon 1.5s...

Skogskyrkogården (or Woodlands Cemetery), Stockholm

Contrary to Asian traditions, cemeteries in Scandinavia are very peaceful pockets of green that locals go to regularly.
For prayers, for solitude or for a simple walk in a park, you'll frequently find cemeteries of varying sizes all around the city.
This Woodlands Cemetery is the largest, and by far the most important one.
The architects had wanted to create an atmosphere of understated tranquility, especially so in a place of such deviant nature.
Instead of heaviness, you feel light. Instead of death, you feel alive.

New Norcia is a town 132km north-east of Perth, Western Australia. Founded by a Benedictine mission in 1845; it is the only monastic town in Australia.

Flickr group, Photographers in Perth, organised an outing to New Norcia on 26th June 2011. Here are some of my photos.
