Nice thing about the M9 is that it's small enough to bring around everyday, unlike my DSLR which I sold off to fund the Leica. Think I made the right choice getting rid of my DSLR.. :)

lol! Funny picture!

Had a hard time with the WB of this slide...CT Precisa...took me awhile to edit off the purplish hue...

Great shots, where is this?

I usually have the same problem with color film, WB is a nightmare sometimes.

This is taken at SAPA valley...
I think on landscape its slightly easier to remove...but on portraits..or skin colors, its quite difficult...or its time i shld brush up my pp skills..haha

My first try to HDR with a rangefinder.

Err.... DIY HDR? Like hand masked in photoshop? I don't get why there is that halo around the building if it was a proper HDR image, looks to me like you masked out the foreground manually (and rather poorly).

But personally I've never liked HDR images... never found them to look "natural"

Thanks, I was just playing around and saw a preset not much effort but the image appealed to me! :)

Did u use a digital rf for this shot?

De halo is an undesired effect on HDR..erm but its subjective:)

Do continue to try if u r interested in hdr:)

Yea should be, all shot on the avenon 21mm F2.8

Its like my full time slave lens, working non stop.

Last one was some street walker in geylang

i can understand, it gets a bit addictive shooting 21mm with zone focus....

heres some shots i took in penang a while ago using my contax iiia with carl zeiss sonnar 50/1.5

A few from the old estate of Bedok.

Canon 35mm f/2 - Kodak Gold 200 (Expired in 2006)

This old man was reading a newspaper, with a pair of really nice vintage glasses, probably gotten before black rimmed glasses were cool.

The old lady was asking for directions from the man who was working at the hawker centre, they were laughing as the old lady was questioning the man's answers to the directions she wanted.

Looking through the schedule of the buses, he stood there for about 2 minutes, I didn't want to take the shot, but turned back and took it anyway.

On the way to the supermarket, this man looked crestfallen as he walked slowly in the opposite direction.

Landscape is easier, usually, I set the WB in the scanner software (I use Vuescan) before I scan, makes it a bit easier.

Haha! Blk 85 market... my "homeground" :)
