wah sek really good shots lei. did u ask the lao ah pek to pose for you hah. how to get them to agree? one time hor...when i ask the lao ah pek to pose, I kenna tio ptui lor !!!

this is the kind of story telling portrait where hor...the countenance of the individual, the wrinkles on his face, the bristles of his beard, the ravages of age, the dishevelled gaze into the distance, the buddha ears - all got so much story to tell in just a simple portrait pic...............zai.........the countenance of the face is itself a type of landscape got so much to see

wah the lens is so sharp, even the freckles on the fat ah pek's chest also can see lei

I like how the lens draw the smooth contours
Of the baby's silhouette,
The drooping forehead
The shut eyelids
So vulnerable and exposed
To this new existence,
The angle of the mother's left hand,
An adult hand of strength
Mixed with tenderness
Aligned with the torso
Initially hidden during a first glance, but, upon a deeper look,
Rapidly appears to the viewer's purview
Revealing robust nerves
Accentuating the strong grasping hold
The burden, you feel
The burden of carrying and caring for the infant.

ho say liao lah - liimpeh can now be wannabe photo critic hehehehe

Thanks artspraken!
I did ask for permission...asked about 10 folks with one reject who waved me away.
They are generally willing....maybe it is the old skool makina...maybe there is minimum age gap between us...

BTW, your "critic" of Shahlan's beautiful baby shot is very "Steady, poon pi pi" as eloquently put by our resident Dr!

LOL...you guys are funny...and thks anyway:)
