Tmax is a modern grain b/w film so gives you very smooth & sharp results, Tri X on the other hand is a classical grain film so results look very retro (think old newspapers pics), grainy & sharp at the same time, but it is highly versatile, you can shoot from iso 200-3200 and still get lovely images. Try some Tri X, shoot with it and see how you feel. Use whatever you like at the end of the day

Tks for the little "review" Dan... always found TMax an expensive film to test...but shall try it one of these days.

tks ray, used a 50mm zeiss-opton sonnar for those shots.. :cool:

vignetting was caused by stacking filters.. put a orange filter on top of my uv filter.. lazy to remove, but kinda like the effect..

Like this as well, reminds me of my younger days where I used to watch my dad windsurf at ECP, back then, the sailing club was just in front of the lagoon hawker center.
