Share some P&S shots

Got myself a GRD, now i know what the fuss is all about. superb details and so tiny, understand the BW output from the GRD III is slightly different from this master legend

what do u think abt this camera??

X'mas came early, some shots taken with the new camera before the battery went kaput. Ricohs are really underrated and deserve more respect.

From my few hours of usage, i find the GRD to be a great little camera ahead of its time when launched 5 years back. Comes with iso 64 for loads of detail, lots of customisable features and great shadow detail from the lens, no wonder they made a leica m mount version of this lens. Great colors and BW jpeg output, i am not needing raw. Cons are small sensor hence low-light high-noise usage not as straight forward, need more time to exploit the cam. Below is a shot of me showing the dynamic range and shadow details. TK photo selling them at $299 all sold out else will definately get another.

Bro too late, mine was a pre-owned one. Just want to try out before i commit to get a GRDIII, sales guy at TK photo told me they just finished clearing stock for GRD at $299 when i went there to compare.

No worries, i believe all GRs each have their strengths. Very good, rugged cameras with great performance.

Yup of course the latest GRD III image processor, sensor and lens are better. Now at a good price of $818 w/ free case.

wow, I cant imagine the original grd still being sold at a retail shop (even tho' it's pre-owned as you said). that longevity is pretty rare for a digicam i must say...

when you say 'pre-owned', what exactly are we talking about? I understand that it's not new, but what else? has it been refurbished? given something akin to a CLA before selling it? your response would be much appreciated.....
